Eligibility : 1. M.E./M.Tech degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical/Material Science and Engineering/ Mechatronics and Robotics, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point from a recognized technical institute or university. AND B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or relevant Discipline. Candidates who have qualified for GATE are highly preferred. OR 2. B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with exceptional academic credentials, good GATE score and strong aptitude for research. Applicants waiting for the qualifying examination results are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process : Shortlisted candidates will be intimated well in advance for appearing in written tests and interview. The written tests and interview will be conducted at Shiv Nadar University campus in Gautam Buddha Nagar District (near Greater Noida), U.P.

Financial Assistance : All candidates admitted to the Ph.D. program will receive teaching/research assistantships of Rs. 35,000 per month along with tuition fee waiver, and hostel fee waiver as given in table. The assistantship is subject to satisfactory performance in the program evaluated continuously, and compliance with all University regulations.

Application Fees : A non-refundable application fees of Rs. 1,200 (One Thousand Two Hundred Only) by credit/debit card or Demand Draft drawn in favor of Shiv Nadar University payable at NOIDA.
