Assistant Professor on Direct Recruitment
Qualification : (i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at Acharya / Master's degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University or, an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above-mentioned qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in afore-mentioned clauses (i) and (ii) of Clause 4.4.1 of the Regulation, candidate, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities. (iv) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. (iv) Knowledge of Sanskrit and ability to teach in Sanskrit.

Qualification : Post-Graduation Degree in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization with minimum 55% marks; and B.Ed with 55% marks & M.Ed degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks. Ph.D in Education/NET in Education OR Postgraduate (M.A.) degree in Education with minimum 55% marks; and B.Ed./B.E1.Ed. Degree with minimum 55% marks. Ph.D in Education/NET in Education

About Company
The Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Sahitya Sammelan established a Sanskrit Vidyapeetha at Delhi on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dashmi on the 8th of October 1962 and appointed Dr.Mandan Mishra as the officer on-Special-Duty and the Director of the Vidyapeetha. In accordance with the decision of the Sammelan, a separate Society under the name of Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha was established with the late Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri as its Founder President. The inspiration and guidance of Late Shri Shastriji had been the impetus for the development of this Vidyapeetha. Shastriji in his capacity as the Prime Minister of India declared to develop this Vidyapeetha as an International Institution.
