Asst.Professor recruitment in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University  on temporary & contractual basis

Asst.Professor in English/Economics & Architecture disciplines.

Eligibility : 1. Assistant Professor for English and Economics discipline: a) Good academic record, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subjects from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. b) The Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. c) Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET as at (b) above.

Salary: Rs. 40,000

Assistant Professor for Architecture

a) Educational Qualifications: First class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture OR Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; AND First Class Master’s Degree in Architecture. b) Only candidates registered with Council of Architecture (COA) under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972 shall be eligible. c) Work Experience (Excluding time spent for acquiring PG/Ph.D. qualifications): 01 year Teaching Experience as Regular/Visiting Faculty of Architecture. d) Those possessing Master’s Degree shall be preferred.

Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated) for B.Arch. Degree holders; & Rs. 40,000/- per month (consolidated) for M.Arch. Degree holders or equivalent.
