Job Description
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
- Leading customer meetings as a Nokia Network representative and providing status reports to customer as per contractual and/or agreed obligations
- Provides technical network planning & optimization support to assist customers in network rollout/modernization. Prepares/compiles NOKIA product information/configuration source data.
- Provides project engagement support within a remote delivery framework and ensures that all deliveries strictly adhere to negotiated deadlines.
- Familiar and up-to-date with latest guidelines, engineering rules on how to dimension and plan various network elements including MSS, MGW, SDM & IP planning.
- Applies Global best practices work instructions/processes/tools ensuring high quality and timely deliveries.

The Core Engineer/Specialist is accountable for solution creation, design & planning, Capacity planning, configuration (Data fills) support for the customer 2G/3G/VoLTESDM core networks mainly focusing on CS , SDM , IP & transport Core Networks.
It also involves network performance assessment, audits and network performance enhancements (optimization).
A key strategic objective of the position is to interface with the NOKIA (NET) Global community (CoDe, SSMs, Product teams etc) and to negotiate support and technology transfer from these contacts (Specialist role)
