Job Description
- Responsible for preparing all pre & post documentation of each Import & Export Shipments (Sea/Air).
- Responsible for International & Domestic Logistics arrangements.
- Basic Knowledge of issuance of Advance License, EPCG License in DGFT.
- Proper Coordination with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines and Port Authorities for smooth Operation activities of each import and export shipment.
- Tracking of import / export shipment timely to avoid demurrages incurred to company
- Calculate and verified the checklist of custom duty of each import & export shipment.
- Liaison with oversea suppliers for placing PI, LC, payment terms & other supporting documentation.
- Timely dispatch all export documents to the bank as per LC norms
- Preparing MIS, DSR and reported to Director / MD on daily basis.
- Maintaining all Import and export records in Excel properly.
- Proper checking the Bill of Entry and calculate of custom duty as per applied HS CODE before finalized.
Travel arrangements of site staffs
- Responsible to verify Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading, COO & GSP etc…before finalized
- Coordination with Shipping line, CHA, CONCOR for Export Shipment.
- Submitted pre and post shipment documents to accounts orderly.
- Proper check and verify the ships certificates before sailing
- Coordinate with Vessel captain for any urgency and requirements
- Proper verify the deck and man holes along with crews and captain.
- Responsible for arranged spare parts for dredger and barges by AIR & Sea as per requirements.
