Position : Site Engineer - Civil
Qualification : B.E. / Diploma with Civil
Experience : Min 5 to 8 yrs or more than with experience in Oil & Gas industry
Job Location : Sankari or Tuticorin in Tamilnadu
Job Duration : 6-8 months Only
Gender : Male Only
Salary : 3.0 to 4.0 L (Depend on candidate exp skills.)
Responsibilities
The details of the civil works required to be done will have to be identified during the field survey. The detailed scope would include but shall not be limited to
a) Soil investigation, contour levels building surroundings, determination of safe soil bearing capacity
b) Design of all types of foundations for buildings, superstructure, trusses, roofs, pedestals
c) During gap analysis, requirement could emerge from the need to develop a separate control room to accommodate the increased level of automation and control, extension of electrical substation to accommodate additional panel, extension of the fire pump house to accommodate additional fire engines, development of land for accommodating the additional structures, pedestals / support for various equipments.
d) If additional building require revised building plan sanction, prepare and submit plans for revised approvals as per specification prescribed by the local bodies.
e) Obtain approval from the local authorities, Factories dept, PESO,etc wherever the drawings have to be submitted through approved Architects/ agencies the same should be arranged and complied by consultant. IOC will assist as owner wherever required.
f) The aesthetics for the additional buildings should be in harmony with the existing non plant buildings in the depot / terminals. The additional extension of roads / drains will also have to be incorporated in the civil works to be done.
g) Wherever required, underground tanks / masonry tanks should be provided for importing fire water through water tankers (Tank Trucks) for pumping into the main tanks. Up gradation existing OWS / Construction of New OWS.
