Job Description

Your Team responsibilities

Responsibilities for the ongoing operations, development and implementation of standards and processes for MSCI's office technology rooms, supporting Moves, adds, changes and decommission of equipment, critical systems (UPS and Cooling) and supporting critical outages

Your key responsibilities

Planning, logistics and operations within site technology rooms
Design, plan and manage new site technology room builds and changes
Oversight and governance of 3rd party smart hands support for install, moves, add, change, decommission (IMACD) & break fix operations
Delivery of project related activities with defined tasks, timelines and budget
Represent and collaboration of site locations within engineering and operations forums
Responsible for server room/communication room, inventory management, monitoring and alarming capabilities for mission critical systems infrastructure
Use and support DCIM tools for rack elevation, cabling, patching and power management
Life cycle of site technologies through IMACD
Standards, process and supporting documentation will be developed and maintained as required in partnership with data center/site and technology teams
Coordinate and act as technical consult to the critical systems team including troubleshooting of critical Infrastructure systems UPS, cooling

Your Skills And Experience That Will Help You Excel

3+ years of relevant work experience in mid-to-large enterprise companies with proved experience working in data centers or offices MDF/IDS
3+ years of demonstrated technical responsibility over geographically dispersed technical environment
Hands-on experience in network technologies
Hands-on expertise in hardware troubleshooting and resolution of hardware specific issues
Demonstrated understanding to evaluate technical design documentation
Infrastructure cabling and troubleshooting
Hardware technologies to include bare metal/virtual servers, network and storage solutions
Clear and concise communications in English, oral and written.
