Job Description
Applications are invited from candidates for the temporary positions (contractual basis) on academic arrangement in the School of Biotechnology, SKUAST-J for the Academic Session 2021-22:
1. Post Name: Assistant Professor (Nanotechnology) (01)
2. Essential Qualification: High second class (55 % marks) Post graduate degree in Nanotechnology/Nanobiotechnology
3. Desirable qualification: NET/SET/Ph.D. in concerned subject & Teaching/ research experience in nanotechnology/ Nanobiotechnology as evident from documents /publications
1. Post Nmae: Assistant Professor (Bioinformatics) (01)
2. Essential Qualification: High second class (55 % marks) Post graduate degree in Bioinformatics
3. Desirable qualification: NET/SET/Ph.D. in concerned subject & Teaching/ research experience in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology as evident from documents /publications
1. Post Nmae: Assistant Professor (Statistics/Mathe matics) (01)
2. Essential Qualification: High second class (55 % marks) Post graduate degree in Statistics and Mathematics
3. Desirable qualification: NET/SET/Ph.D. in concerned subject & Teaching/ research experience in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computational Biology as evident from documents /publications
4. Consolidated wages: Rs. 45000/- per month for Ph.D. and Rs. 35000/- per month for masters. (Fixed)
Age Limit:
Candidate age limit should not be less than 20 and not more than 55 as on 01- 01-2021

The application form complete in all respect along with attested copies of the certificates and accompanied with postal order of Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, Faculty of Agriculture payable at Chatha
