SMS Agrometeorology/ Agromet Observer Jobs in Surat - Navsari Agricultural University
Job Description
The Directorate of Extension Education, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari intends to
fill up the three posts of SMS (Agrometeorology) and three posts of Agromet Observer on
contractual basis for the District Agromet Unit (DAMU) Project under the Gramin Krishi Mausam
Sewa (GKMS) scheme at three KVKs i.e. Dediapada (Dist.-Narmada), Waghai (Dist.-Dang) and
Surat.
Subject Matter Specialist (Agro meteorology) /3 (Each at above said 3 KVKs)
Qualification: 1. Post-Graduation degree in Agrometeorology / Meteorology / Agronomy / Agriculture Physics with bachelor degree in B.Sc.(Agri.) but the preference will be given to candidates with Agrometeorology qualification. 2. Basic knowledge of computer operations, computer typing in Gujarati and English.
Pay Scale : Rs 56100/- + DA + HRA (as per rules)
Age: 40 years for male and 45 years for female as on the date of advertisement
Agromet Observer/ 3 (Each at above said 3 KVKs)
Qualification: 1. Polytechnic (Diploma) in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agri. Engineering.
2. Basic knowledge of computer operations, computer typing in Gujarati and English.
Pay Scale : Rs 21700/- + DA + HRA (as per rules)
Age: 35 years for male and 40 years for female as on the date of advertisement
