Job Purpose
Responsible for managing social media and producing creative written content for a variety of audiences and platforms. The successful candidate must ensure that PSD’s digital communication strategy is implemented effectively reaching out to its target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
· Develop monthly plans and weekly decks for PSD’s/ partners’ social media presence and promotion; platforms include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
· Ensure regular and frequent content on digital spaces, providing followers with appropriate updates to drive interaction with content and messaging.
Content Creation
· Write, edit and disseminate content for a wide variety of documentation, communication and marketing channels pertaining to the organization's activities, projects, vision, values, impact and/or expertise.
· Ensure writing style is aligned for a range of audiences and platforms, with the ability to summarise technical and complex content in non-specialist language.
Other
· Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization.
· Support the delivery and maintenance of good internal communications and information-sharing internally.
