Job brief:

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating and sourcing text and visual content, managing posts and responding to followers and most importantly increase our following. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends as well as trends amongst our target audience of 18 to 26 years age group. Your job role may also include some aspects of growth hacking.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement by providing them engaging content and ensure that it all converts to views on our content site.

Responsibilities:

·         Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

·         Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)

·         Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

·         Oversee social media accounts management, campaigns and growth

·         Suggest and implement new initiatives to drive web traffic via promotions

Requirements:

·         Excellent communication and writing skills in English

·         Well versed with social media

·         Basic ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

·         Knowledge of online marketing channels

·         Familiarity with web design
