Job Description
Software Architect
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- AWS based Cloud Architecture and migration skills and experience.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for IT Infrastructures, keeping current with industry trends and emerging technologies and providing guidance and direction to customers and project teams.
- Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.
- Experience in platform and cloud migrations.
- Understanding of Hyper Converged& Converged technologies: Nutanix, VMware Hitachi Unified Compute, VCE VBlock
- Virtualization Technology Skills (VMware, Hyper-V),
- Experience as an IT Infrastructure Architect, with focus on AWS cloud, server, storage and networking.
- Experience with MS Server Operating Systems
- Experience with MS SQL, SharePoint and .NET
- Must be well versed in and have experience IT policies and procedures and technology standards
- Knowledge of further Cloud technologies (Azure, S3, VMware)
- Experience in leading a team applying all elements of Technical Consulting
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Must be comfortable making Disaster Recovery Models or recommendations.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience & overall experience of 10 years is required
