Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Software Business Operations Professional is responsible to provide necessary business and operations-related support to the India AI-Applications Services team. This position closely works with the Services Management team to provide day-to-day support towards business decision making and compliance, by ensuring financial discipline and smooth services operations.
Typical Job responsibilities would include:
  • Resource Management: Coordinate Hiring, On-boarding & Off-boarding of Employees and Contractor Resources, working with various internal IBM teams.
  • Operations metrics tracking and reporting: Utilization Reports, Revenue Reports, Monthly Operations Review reports, other ad-hoc management reports.
  • Financial Controls and Management: Setting up of Project Billing Codes, Timely cost recoveries, Expenses tracking, Project, Mobility, and Travel Billings.
  • Operations Tools management administration: Trello, Publisher, Box, Time Clocking and Services Project Revenue/Forecast Tools.
  • Facility / IT-Infrastructure / Business Controls Compliance: IT compliance, Supporting Audits, Devices Tracking (Primary Workstations & Servers), Capital and Expense management, Export Regulations Compliance, Seating planning by aligning to IBM central operations teams.
  • Employee Engagement: Co-ordinating employee engagement activities, events.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 Years of experience in supporting a Software Services Business in an Operations role.
  • Software Services business knowledge, like utilization, billings, cost recovery, etc.,
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently with various teams and managers, including Worldwide teams.
  • Flexible, Ability to prioritize, interpret data, Keen eye for data accuracy.
  • Strong grasp of Operations tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to generate Pivots, VLookups, Graphs, etc., in Excel
  • Awareness of collaboration tools such as Trello, Slack, Publisher, BOX, etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Certification in any Services Management areas, such as ITIL
  • Ability to run activities in Agile Manner (knowledge of Scrum)
  • MIS Reports and Dashboards Creation
