Job Description

• This role is responsible for developing software for Tandem and its customers using the Microsoft Tool set.
  

Role Objectives

• To create software for Tandem and its customers that meets the requirements of the users of that software.
• To work with the UX Design team to make sure that the software provides the best UX possible.
• To work with the Graphic Design team to make sure that the software looks visually appealing
• To ensure that software developed is responsive across all targeted devices.

Duties description

• Interact with clients to ensure that user requirements are understood.
• Work with the IT Director to design the architecture of the system to be implemented.
• Work with the UX design team to make sure that the design suggested can be implemented efficiently.
• Develop the required system using the Microsoft .Net tool set.
• Be part of an Agile team that will deliver to clients regularly.

Experience

• 1 – 3 years direct experience in .Net software development.
• Highly experienced in C# coding / OO design and development
• Highly experienced in the use of Microsoft suite of development tools, e.g. Visual Studio, MySQL,SQL Server Management Studio
• Good skills in MS SQL, with the ability to design / develop relational database models
• Experienced using modern design patterns, e.g. MVC
• Experience in managing projects in an agile manner
• Excellent front-end web development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Good knowledge of JavaScript libraries, particularly j Query
• Good knowledge using responsive CSS frameworks, particularly Bootstrap
• Experienced in the use of Source Control tools and applications
• Umbraco CMS experience would be desirable
