We are looking for full-stack developers with experience in developing and managing applications written on the Ruby on Rails stack

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Integration of data storage solutions such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Writing Web applications hosted on Heroku, AWS
• Understand front-end and UI concepts and implement front-end logic with latest Javascript standards
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality and organization

Requirements

• BE/BTech/MCA or ME/MTech in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 1 – 3 yrs of development experience.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
• Good experience with Javascript
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, AngularJS or BackboneJS is a huge plus
• Experience with other development languages/frameworks such as NodeJS/ExpressJS or Java is a plus
• Working experience with DBMS such as MySQL, MongoDB
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, RESTful
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
