Job Description
Key responsibility areas:
§ Understand the end to end product development cycle which includes defining product features, requirements and expected functionalities, understanding of client requirements and domain, maintenance and client support
§ Understand the use cases for the product and get conceptual understanding
§ Work in a team / independently for development of product functionalities
§ Adherence to the development standards and timelines
§ Take responsibility independently and deliver on the expected lines.
§ Research on new use cases and enhancement on the technology
§ Adherence to the process and timelines with the defined quality standards
§ Stakeholder management in a project and work collaboratively with project manager to ensure that all client commitments are delivered as per allocated timelines
Key Requirements:
§ Knowledge in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, PyGTK
§ Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and Angular JS
§ Good working knowledge of Unix /Solaris AIX deployments, web server (Apache), application server (WebLogic/Websphere).
§ Advanced Oracle/SQL knowledge is highly desirable
§ Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodologies
§ Knowledge of architectural design patterns and best practices for development
Key performance metrics:
§ Adherence to delivery timelines
§ Adherence to the firm’s standards for processes and quality
§ Product performance
§ Client feedback
§ Feedback from project manager, counselor and other team members
