Essential Requirements:
- B.E graduate with 2-5 years working experience in a combination of development and testing roles using Oracle PL/SQL is a must.
- Working knowledge of Database application development.
- Good problem solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to influence others to achieve results
- Scripting and scheduling database jobs using Control-M.
- Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments
- Strong analytical skills combined with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle
- principles
- Working knowledge on Automation and Automation framework.
- Familiarity with testing tools like QTP, Selenium, Worksoft, Load Runner is preferred.
- Java knowledge preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans and estimates QA test team activities, manage test preparation and test execution tasks, ensuring they are completed on time
- Authors and executes test cases and testing methodology for manual and/or automated tests
- Understands and adheres to cost/delivery/quality targets established during regression and testing phase
- Software development expertise from a testing perspective. This is required for building test automation.
- Contribute to test automation activities through knowledge of coding/programming in current languages
- Develops new test methodologies or processes, re-evaluate existing processes. Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives
- General understanding of business environment. Fosters teamwork and collaboration within and across work groups
- Responsible for providing requirements and specifications for the automation of test cases. Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and addresses them proactively.
