Responsibilities and Duties
Job Profile :
- Conceptualisation, development and testing of new applications in IoT.
- Integrate software applications with hardware equipment by working with Distronix hardware development team.
- Assist in the identification and installation of new equipment.
- Maintenance of existing applications and technical support activities.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Mandatory Skill Set:

Distronix is an IoT product company with patented IoT platforms and a robust ecosystem, which allows us to move from PoC to production is a short period of time. We serve in Industrial IoT and Industrial robotics. We customers and partners like TCS (Global IoT division & Innovation Labs), Berger Paints India, Capgemini USA, KPMG, Thane Municipal Corporation and more.
We have also helped the famous Kolkata yellow Cabs to be onboarded on an app-based taxi aggregation platform called “Yatrik”, which was an initiative jointly by Distronix, Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Bandhan Bank with the support of West Bengal Transport Ministry. The proposition was we developed easy to use low cost IoT devices for the Taxi drivers who are not educated or comfortable to use smartphone-based system. Hence creating an opportunity for growth for them as well.
We manufactured and deployed over 15K IoT devices specifically in industrial performance monitoring of assets, smart transportation, smart city applications and smart customer experience. By the end of the calendar year we will be have over 40K IoT devices in India alone. Presently partnering to enable IoT with blockchain and AI.
Our deployment for Berger Paints, is one of the world’s first IoT deployment to improve customer experience by a paint company.
Our ecosystem allows us to rapidly develop and deploy cutting edge IoT solutions to all over the country, North Americas and The Netherlands. We have not only generated employment for niche technology in the engineering field but also employed skilled workers from Skill Indian training institutes for our manufacturing processes as well, hence supporting the entire social pyramid.
Our moto is to build the ecosystem and for which we take out time to conduct workshops regarding, IoT, embedded & robotics for students. We have taught over 5,000 students in colleges like IIEST Shibpur, IEM group, Techno India Group and more, till date and help in inculcating the culture.
Ours founders have years of experience in designing and creating embedded design and solutions. With experience working for Renesas Electronics Corporation & in Silicon Valley for SAP Labs, which provides a great exposure and experience in the startup ecosystem for promoting business. Our founders are speakers at various events & are closely associated with business bodies like Confederation of Indian Industries being an Executive committee member of CII-East, Innovation & Startup Task Force, ICTE Sub-committee and CII ER Manufacturing Excellence Subcommittee.
