Job Description
- Degree : BE, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Computer science)
Responsibilities
- Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
- Develop a strategy the team will use to reach its goal.
- Provide any training that team members need.
- A seasoned tech lead with extensive experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Have experience in leading a team of Developers
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
- These guys are key and will be 100% on development.
Skills
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors {{such as Sass, based on project requirements}}
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, AngularJS, Backbone.js
- Familiarity with development aiding tools {{such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc.}}
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience working with latest versions of ruby (2.2.0) and rails (4.2)
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
- Experience working with Amazon services
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque(Optional)
- Expert in JavaScript and must demonstrate ability to write advanced JavaScript beyond JQuery-centered development
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. GitHub, Mercurial or SVN}}
