Job Description
- The Software Engineer in Test is a highly technical role in Networking Products validation andautomation of test cases.
- The Candidate should be well versed with Networking fundamentals,L2/L3 protocols, Virtualization technologies and test frameworks & test automation.
- Hands-on experience on Switches/Routers with L2 and L3 technologies - configuring and troubleshooting L2/L3 protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VLAN, VRRP, Multicast,MPLS, VPNs, QoS, ACL, BFD etc
- Experience on Testplan writing for Networking protocols
- Conduct and participate in design reviews and test plan reviews.
- Platform experience of L3 switches and routers.
- Very good in Python Automation and script debugging experience
- Perform unit, platform, functional and system level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements using lab test equipment needed
- API and Library development experience.
- Familiarity with common industry test equipment (Cisco Switches/Routers) is required.
- Should have good hands on experience in design test beds/topologies, handling various traffic equipment/tools also help in reproduce customer issues etc.
- Should be able to take complete ownership of module/feature.
- Hands-on experience on Traffic generators – Ixia Network, Spirent STC, etc
- BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH from reputed university/college
- 2+ years experience in networking products qualification
- Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIP, CCIE etc
