Process Overview

The position is for Fund Services, Insurance and Transfer Technology (FITT) team that manages the Mutual Funds, Money Markets and other financial products via FS2 platform. The functions include Pricing, Dividends, Trading, Tracking, Reconciliation and settlements with multiple touch points with other GWIM systems.

Job Description

Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages

Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps

Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture

Use and adapt existing web applications for apps

Create and test software prototypes

Develop client displays and user interfaces

Assist software personnel in handling project related work and other requirements

Coordinate with other software professionals and developers

Responsibilities

The resource will design, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test applications that support business unit or supporting functions using Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Framework, C#, React/Angular/NVC, Web Service, Windows Service, XML, IIS, Oracle/DB2, TFS/BitBucket. Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives

Requirements

• Education: B.E / B. Tech / MCA
• Certifications If Any: N/A
• Experience Range: 4 to 6 years
• Mandatory skills

• 4+ years of development experience using C# .NE
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET), Razor/Bootstrap/JQuery and HTML5/CSS3
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages with strong attention to detail
• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps

• Desired skills

• Excellent communication skills, motivated team player & strong inter personal skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-location teams
• Ability to take on tasks independently and see them to completion
• Ability to work on a multi-tasking environment within a strict timeline
• Domain experience in Finance and Banking, Insurance and Retail.
• Candidates with previous experience in Merrill Lynch / BofA Investment banking domain knowledge platform preferred.
