Job description:
- Write high quality, structured application/interface code for a web portal and documentation in accordance with department standards.
- Participate in the definition of functional and technical requirements for the portal to develop skills and knowledge.
- Work side by side with the end user/internal customer to develop, debug, and test application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results.
- Work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to ensure the application meets our high quality standards and operates efficiently and as requested.
- Administer the web portal through Admin UI and generate reports time to time.
- Make necessary enhancement and changes to the content of the portal through a customized Content Management System.
- Take up change requests time to time and implement in production environment
- Working knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL, & PHP (LAMP) development stack or other web programming languages.
- Working knowledge of designing, querying, and updating databases in MySQL. Experience using coding through Code Ignitor and utility scripts (optional).
- Working knowledge in hosting of PHP/MySQL application will be definite plus
- Skill for building user interfaces using JS/JQuery/HTML/CSS.
- Good verbal and written English communication skill.
