Software Engineer Trainee

Eligibility criteria:

  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech (Computer Science Engineering , Information Sciences Engineering and Information Technology Only), MCA from 2016 batch with an aggregate of 65% and above in throughout academics.
  • No standing arrears as on date.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Designing and automating functional, i18N, concurrency, stress/longevity test plans, test cases based upon requirements, and Customer/Field use cases.
  • Designing automation frameworks.
  • Actively participate in functional, system and regression testing activities.
  • Certifying multiple Informatica products like BDM, LDM, IDL across multiple industry leading Hadoop distributions, such as:
  • Cloudera
  • Hortonworks
  • MapR
  • BigInsights
  • Amazon EMR
  • Azure HDInsight
  • Working with internal and external customer to better understand use cases and design effective test strategy.
  • Innovate ideas for automation and tools for overall QA productivity.
  • Collaborates effectively with peer engineers and architects to solve complex problems.
  • Working with R&D engineering and QA teams across the world.


Technical Skills :

  • Strong OO design and programming skills with Java.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2.
  • Excellent knowledge of UNIX shell scripting or Windows batch file scripting. This would give you an edge over other candidates that apply.
  • Strong fundamentals of UNIX.
  • Strong data warehousing fundamentals along with the knowledge of ETL and data management.
  • Excellent analysis, debugging, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Advantage:

  • Knowledge of automation frameworks using Java.
  • Knowledge in the Big Data (Hadoop).


The duration of this Trainee program is 12 months. Based on the performance during the Trainee period, the candidate may be converted into a full time employee.

Salary : 4.5 LPA

We certify multiple Informatica products like BDM, LDM, IDL across multiple Hadoop distributions. The team helps with Proof Of Concepts, verify Emergency Bug Fixes, and helps with one-off certifications.

You must test and critique software components and interfaces in great technical depth, write test frameworks and programs to assure high product quality, and develop advanced test tools that increase productivity and efficiency.
