Essential:
- Excellent in Core Java with knowledge of Java 1.8 features and above
- Hands on experience in Java, JEE, Spring, Linux/Unix, Mule, Oracle Database, React JS, micro services, Cloud/Virtualization, API Development,
- Hands-on experience in RESTful web services
- Hands-on experience in Mule development
- Developing quality code, Writing Junit test cases
- Good exposure to backend and UI development
- Experience in working with Messaging Systems such as WebSphere MQ using JMS
- Application Monitoring / Log Management tools such as Splunk or Geneos Monitoring Tool
- Multi-threaded Programming and Transaction Handling (JMS, Database)
- Hands-on experience & Knowledge on Git and/or Bitbucket Source code control software
- Hands-on experience & Knowledge on JIRA & continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
- Experience in working with RDBMS applications (preferably Oracle)
- Experience working on high throughput mission critical high performance platforms which have low error rates
- Should have availability and flexibility to work collaboratively in a team
- Write functional and technical requirements / mock up
- Participation in code reviews and sharing of knowledge with other members of the team
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in working with Service Orientated Architectures
- Exposure to Agile Methodology & collaborating with other developers in an agile environment
- Exposure to risk analysis and offering recommendations for risk containment
- Know-how in Software installation, patch upgrade, data synchronization, system monitories, health checks and program release would be definitely a plus
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
