Position Summary:

This position is responsible for integration and configuration of functional safety based embedded software releases.

Essential Functions:

• Evolving and maintaining the build environment

• Embedded software integration with application layer, BSW, communication and other software packages

• Configuration of basic software stack and communication stack

• Maintenance of code versions, version management

• Measurement and optimization of software resource-consumption

• Participation in debugging and fault analysis

• Participation in the development of the software integration process

Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of embedded software development and integration process

• Experience in BSW configuration and integration

• Excellent skills in embedded C programming

• Knowledge of operating systems applied in embedded systems

• Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet, Powerlink etc

• Experience in debugging tools (e.g., trace32, Lauterbach)

• Experience in configuration and version management tools (SVN, Git)

Good to have:

o Knowledge of functional safety protocols like ISO 26262, IEC 61508

o Knowledge of “Functional Safety Ready” controllers

Experience:

• 4 to 8 years of experience

Education:

• B.E./B.Tech or Equivalent

• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as per business demands.
