Software Tester recruitment in IIT Kharagpur
Project Title: Software for Managing Institutes of Learning and Education(MLE)
Vacancies: 6 posts
Consolidated Compensation Upto: Rs.40000(depending upon qualification & experience)
Department/School/Centre: Enterprise Resource Planning
Qualifications: B.E/B.TECH in Computer Sc. & Engg/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Electrical Communications or MCA or MSC in Computer Sc. OR equivalent qualification from a reputed University/Institute.
Relevant Experience: This post requires Essential and Desirable experience as mentioned below - Essential: Minimum 2 year of software testing experience in Spring Framework, J2EE technologies, especially on JSP, JDBC, XML. Good database/SQL knowledge in RDBMS PostgreSQL/ Oracle/ Db2 or in any other RDBMS tool.
Desirable: Contribute in system integration testing of newly developed software – understanding of requirements, test case preparation, test data preparation, test case execution, test result capture. Should be able to work independently. Any working experience at client places and for handling implementation especially in reputed academic institutions and/or development and implementation of accounting module will get higher preference. Should have efficient communication skill, client handling skills and teaming.
N.B.: Those who will be found fit for the post may be posted either at Kolkata Centre or Kharagpur as per requirement.
