Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test
coverage plan. Execute business cycle test cases against requirements
● Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual
deliverables.
● Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs,
jobs and triggers.
● Clear communicator (written and verbal) – to ensure an ability to write test plans and test cases.
To communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
● Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure the ability translate technical requirements
test plans
● Ability to think abstract – outside the box of potential issues that could potentially happen
● Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
● Use your knowledge and experience to anticipate areas of particular risk in the system, and
prioritize testing to find important defects early
● Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to communicate
planned testing, testing progress, and status of the project
● Help Build and Deploy each Build at the end of project cycle
● Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
