Role: Solutions Engineer

Location: Bangalore



Key Responsibilities/ Job Description:

• Requirement gathering and customer interaction
• Solution Engineering and deployment 
• Post deployment support and maintenance
• The candidates will work in the “Operations Digitalization” delivery team. The work mainly involves working on SQL based Big Data platforms.
• Good communication skills, verbal as well as written
• Willing to travel globally

Working Experience required

• 4 - 8 years of relevant working experience

Preferred skillset

• Have executed MES/ MIS projects with Process Manufacturing Industry (like Refinery and Chemicals) customers
• Hands-on experience with data-sources in Process Manufacturing industry like Historians, LIMS, Maximo, Meridium, SAP-PM etc.
• Able to lead a project from requirement gathering, design, development and all the way to deployment and support.

 Good to have skillset

• High degree of expertise and interest in SQL (PL-SQL, T-SQL, Postgres)
• Data warehousing, modelling, and pipelining, along with hands-on experience of ETL tools like SSIS, Pentaho, Informatica, etc.
• Object- oriented programming concepts, along with hands-on experience in Java/C# is highly desirable
• Exposure / Experience in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView

Educational requirements

B.E/B. Tech/ M.E. / M. Tech/MCA in Computer Science or Other Engineering, however, the main selection criteria is skills, capabilities and attitude.
