Our client, a Singapore based Data Sciences & Analytics company is looking fill following position for its Bangalore Description

Role: Solutions Engineer

Requirement : Immediate

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities/ Job Description

Requirement gathering and customer interaction
Solution Engineering and deployment
Post deployment support and maintenance
The candidates will work in the - Operations Digitization- delivery team. The work mainly involves working on SQL based Big Data platforms.
Good communication skills, verbal as well as written
Willing to travel globally

Working Experience Required

4 to 8 years of relevant working experience

Preferred Skillset

Have executed MES/ MIS projects with Process Manufacturing Industry (like Refinery and Chemicals) customers
Hands-on experience with data-sources in Process Manufacturing industry like Historians, LIMS, Maximo, Meridium, SAP-PM etc.
Able to lead a project from requirement gathering, design, development and all the way to deployment and support.

Good To Have Skillset

High degree of expertise and interest in SQL (PL-SQL, T-SQL, Postgres)
Data warehousing, modelling, and pipelining, along with hands-on experience of ETL tools like SSIS, Pentaho, Informatica, etc.
Object- oriented programming concepts, along with hands-on experience in Java/C# is highly desirable
Exposure / Experience in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView

Educational Requirements

B.E/B. Tech/ M.E. / M. Tech/MCA in Computer Science or Other Engineering, however, the main selection criteria is skills, capabilities and attitude.
