Scouts & Guides Quota Job position in South East Central Railway

(I) For Posts in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with corresponding Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-.

Qualification : 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. [50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of ST/SC/Ex-Serviceman and for candidates who possess higher qualifications such as /Graduation/Post Graduation etc.] (or) Act Apprenticeship/ ITI. No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering will be accepted as an alternative qualification.

(II) For Posts in PB-1; Rs. 5200-20200/- with corresponding Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-.

Qualification : Minimum 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.

Total No. of Vacancies : 08 posts (02- Over South East Central Railway., 06- 02 posts each for Bilaspur, Raipur and Nagpur Divisions)

Age : 18-32 yrs

Examination Fees: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) (ii) For Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis)}, Persons With Disabilities, and those belonging to economically backward classes : Rs. 250/- (Two Hundred (Two Hundred Fifty Only) refund Fifty Only) refundable to those W to those W to those Who actually appear in the written examination actually appear in the written examination. ho actually appear in the written examination.

The fee is Payable through Challan on State Banks of India , Main Branch, Bilaspur {(C.G) Branch Code No. 0336} against Railway Recruitment Cell/SECR/Bilaspur’s Account No. 33344526197 through any Branch of State Bank of India [format of challan is available at annex. (h) of this notification.) The candidates applying for both the posts (i.e. GP 1900 and GP 1800) have to pay the fees separately.

Mode of Selection : Performance of the candidates who apply in response to the Notification(s) against Scouts & Guides Quota for both GP Rs. 1900/ and GP Rs. 1800/- also and whose applications are found in order shall be assessed on the following basis:

(i) Written Examination: 50 Marks.

(ii) Scouting Skill Assessment: 10 Marks.

(iii) Marks on certificates: 40 Marks.

Before posting against any working post the candidate should pass the medical examination prescribed for the post.

Call letters will be sent to eligible candidates for written Examination. Date of written examination will be announced later. Written examination for posts both in PB-I GP Rs. 1900/- and GP Rs.1800/- shall be conducted by HQ.
