Job Description
PARTS ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The primary role of Parts Assistant is to ensure issuing right part/s to the eTEK /technician against parts requisition and update entry into the Mahindra Dealer World(DMS).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stock parts in systematic way and label bins / racks as per SOP.
- Tally the part number with physical material and requisition.
- Ensure all parts are entered in requisition correctly and entry is posted in MDW for FFR monitoring as well as lost sale tracking.
- Escalating parts related concerns to Parts Manager.
- Manage parts related claims, coordinate with insurance and M&M for properclosure/reimbursement.
- Ensure blocking of VOR / blocked parts with separate tag mentioning theconcerned vehicle / RO number.
- Preparation of parts kit for schedule services based on advice of Parts Manager.• Assisting parts manager in generating MIS and reports.
- Maintain high level of housekeeping inside parts store.
SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
- Must have high process focus.
- Should be good in housekeeping and parts storage.
- Must have computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Capable to operate and use DMS.
- Knowledge about automobile parts is essential.
EDUCATION:
- Graduate/Diploma with material management preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in parts department.
