Summary:
The objective of this role is to enrich customer relationship; building trust and loyalty through cross-selling
products. In this role, the qualified candidate will be responsible to cross-sell (CLX) to the eligible
customer, persuade them into applying for it, accept their applications over phone and follow up with them
to sign the contract once approved. Sales are an extremely important component of this position.
Job responsibilities:
• Make daily calls to CLX eligible customers to convince them to apply for the product.
• Collect all application details from customers over phone and input them into Homer for
evaluation.
• Notify customers of result of their application and in the case of approval, direct the customer to a
CLX POS for signing.
• Responsible to handle inbound calls from dedicated CLX number or CLX calls transferred from
general helpline.
• Proactively follow up with customers where necessary to persuade them to apply, collect all
application details and to sign the contract at POS (the same Specialist will be guiding the same
customer through the whole process).
• Assist customers present at POS for contract signing where the SA is not available. Call the
respective DSM to send another SA to the POS.
• Update all information in Genesis and Homer as per the conversation with customer.
• Share sales techniques and knowledge with the TL and fellow specialist to drive overall
performance of the team.
Desired Profile:
• Excellent selling and persuading skills.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in sales or collection.
• Ability to confidently engage the client in a conversation, not just to follow a script.
• Agreeable accent and choice of vocabulary.
• Excellent typing skills (min 15/90 wpm/accuracy) – will be required to type up a lot of information
in short period of time.
• Ability to plan and manage follow-ups.
• Ability to work under stress and to meet challenging sales targets.
