Sports Personnel jobs in Kerala Police Department
Sports achievement : ( On 01.01.2018) Represented the States in the Game of Volley Ball and secured selection to represent Kerala State in interstate (University / Junior / Senior / Youth / School level) / National Championships
Educational Qualification: A Pass in the HSE or equivalent Examination.
Age: Must have completed 18 years and must be below 26 years of age as on 01 January-2018
Physical Qualification: Height : 152 cm. Minimum Height shall be 150 cm for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes Must be certified to posses the visual standard specified below without spectacles
Distant Vision
Right eye : 6/6 snellen
Left eye : 6/6 snellen
Near Vision
Right eye : 0.5
Left eye : 0.5
The selection of eligible candidates will be done through selection trials, conducted by a Selection Committee constituted by the Government. The selected candidates will be appointed subject to the Government decision as Havildars in the Armed Police Battalions.
Note :
1) Each eye must have full field of vision.
2) Colour Blindness, Squint or any Morbid Condition of eyes or lids of either eye shall
be a disqualification.
3) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, Flat foot, Varicose
Veins,bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and
hearing.
4) Must qualify in any 5 events out of eight specified below, of the National Physical
Efficiency one star Standard Test
1 100 meter Run /17 sec
2 High Jump /106 cm
3 Long Jump /305 cm
4 Putting the short of 4 Kg /488 cm
5 200 meter Run 36 sec
6 Throwing the Cricket Ball /1400 cm
7 Shuttle Race (25x4 meter)/ 26 sec
8 Skipping (One Minute) / 80 Times
