Sports Talent Search Scholarship for the year 2015-16 conducts Department of Sports & Youth Welfare. Govt. of Assam

Applications are invited from the eligible players of Assam for award of Sports Talent Search scholarship for the year 2015-16 as per the following terms and conditions:

Age : The applicant’s age should not be more than 19 years on 31st March, 2017 for school students and Should riot be more than 22 years on 31st March, 2015 for college students.

a. State Level

i The value of the Scholarship shall be Rs. 6000/- per annum i.e. Rs. 500/- per month. ii. Member of Champion / Runners-up teams and those attaining first three positions in individual / discipline / event in the State level Competitions, organized by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, State Sports Associations, Inter College Competitions Organized by the respective University Sports Board of the State in which minimum five Districts / Institutions had participated, shall be eligible for the scholarship.

b. National Level

i. The value of the Scholarship shall be Rs. 8400/- per annum i.e. Rs. 700/- per month. ii Member of Winner / Runners –up team and those attaining first three positions in individual discipline / event in National level Competitions, organized by the School Games Federation of India, National Sports Federations, Sports Authority of India, All India University Sports Control Board shall be eligible for this Scholarship
