SQA Automation Engineer

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- 5 years in testing domain out with minimum 2 years in automation testing
- Experience of working on at-least 2 enterprise-class system software products like products from Cisco, NetApp, EMC, HP etc.
- At least 2 years of testing experience on storage/networking technology
- Knowledge of a variety of web application technologies (Web 2.0, JSON, REST), shell scripting and standard methodologies

Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :
- Working Knowledge of programming languages like Javascript, Python etc., along with Java performance testing
- Basic understanding of any one of databases - MySQL, MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Experience with continuous build frameworks (Jenkins or Bamboo)
- Training QA resources
- You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
- An ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with a creative approach to work
- An intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management

- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with developers in an agile development environment and help with QA activities to produce high-quality software
- Develop automation test scripts
- Planning and execute functional, regression and system testing
- Define, set up and maintain test setups
- Support remote QA team (training, troubleshooting)
- Responsible for accurate documentation and communication to facilitate elimination of problems and to create efficient fixes
- Support Product features demos and training as needed
