Sr Advanced Mech Design Engr

Location-Bangalore

YOU MUST HAVE : Bachelors Degree in Engineering

Leading Mechanical design and development for the material handling equipment, understanding the applications and work closely with design team in developing product & process concepts to meet specifications
Strong Engineering knowledge with a proven record of NPI launch with engagement from concept stage to Market introduction stage. Sound knowledge in conducting tolerance stack up analysis, engineering design calculations and robust DFMEA. Extensive experience with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, & Design to Cost
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions using process control tools such as FMEA, PMAP, Cpk Analysis.
Definition of novel mechanical concepts to overcome conflicting requirements and challenging technical criteria. Optimize selected mechanical concepts to demonstrate the best available performance
Evaluation and selection of best choice materials, finishes and processes in cooperation with local experts. Ensuring functionality and manufacturability of final design by engineering analyses & calculations
Design of mechanical assemblies and parts, preparation of prototype manufacturing documentation according to internal standards & procedures.
Basic knowledge in Drafting Standards especially ASME 14.5M.
Participate on definition of tests and acceptance test procedures. Participate on safety & reliability evaluations of electro-mechanical systems.
Provide technical expertise and support to multiple technology development teams
