Job Description
- Liaise closely with branch manager and branch staffs to solve problems relating to payment issues.
- Telephone all customers who have not paid their account by the due date, maintain record of contacts (including date, action, commitments) and follow through to ensure correction of any problems and prompt collection of outstanding.
- Updating the call card after each telephone conversation.
- Issue reminder letters and statement according to company credit control policy.
- Processing of cash/cheques for daily banking.
- Prepare & process credit notes due to customers, and deferment of stop service for an outstanding customer in regard to debtors’ issues, monitor prompt Branch Manager Approval and processing by Finance Department.
- Handle arrangements/activities of collection agents or lawyer’s office on delinquent accounts.
- Prepare documents for bad debts write-offs and lodge claims/proof of debts against liquidators/receivers.
- Prepare reports/returns on debtors and collections.
- Review collection activities and status of outstanding with Head of Credit Control on a weekly basis.
- Achieve the KPI benchmark set by the management.
- Monitor prompt issuance of invoices to customers.
- Immediate contact of customers after issuance of every invoice.
- Ensure the accuracy of customer’s details in the database use for billing and collection purposes.
- Any Graduate
- Min 3 years experience in collections.
- Good in Ms Office (Expertise in Excel)
- Preferably from MNC
