Job Description
The Merchant - Relationship Manager / Account Manager ensure smooth relationship with Merchant and work on retention of existing accounts under their responsibility. They are accountable for developing long-term working relationship with an assigned merchant and manage their portfolio. RM or AM operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to their accounts.
· Attaining sales- renewal/ retention target of the company.
· Nurturing the assigned merchants and increasing avenues for repeat business/sales and scheduling BTL activities on regular basis.
· Cross-selling and up-selling once new sales opportunities are identified within existing accounts or in nearby location.
· Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identifying opportunities for growth
· Solving and managing any conflict with clients (Merchant).
· Establishing budgets/deals with the company and assigned merchants.
· Setting and tracking retention account targets, aligned with company objectives.
· Acting as the point of contact for all matters related to the client’s (Merchant) portfolio.
· Maintaining and building long-lasting and strong relationship as a trusted advisor with the assigned merchants.
· Reporting external and internal activity (BTL) & the periodic progress of the business.
· Tracking and forecasting key account metrics.

Basic Requirements:
· Graduate/Post Graduate with 1 - 2 yrs. of experience ONLY.
· Relevant working experience in account management in other organizations
· Ability to relate across departments and various levels of the organization
· Experience in client-focused solution delivery based fully on the needs of the customer
· Ability to multitask without leaving out any detail
· Excellent skills in presentation, negotiation, and listening.
