Learning Technologies is responsible for building organizational capability that supports business strategy and employee development by analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating learning technology solutions. The Sr. Specialist, Learning Technologies, is responsible for learning administration for the Learning & Development Center of Excellence and enterprise training stakeholders.
- Demonstrates knowledge of CoE learning technology functionality and application to business learning administration needs
- Stays current with L&D CoE learning technology
- Promotes a learning culture that inspires elective learning and exploration and learning whenever/wherever
- Applies business knowledge and Cardinal Health and L&D CoE policies and best practices in performing LMS tasks
- Assists requestors in understanding and aligning requests to Cardinal Health and CoE policies and best practices for learning administration
- Helps resolve issues and problems related to the learning platform or administration of training
Accountabilities
- Responsible for performing learning management system tasks to support requests from enterprise content owners and training stakeholders
- Partners with L&D CoE academy and instructional design teams to proactively understand future needs, plan for workload and recommend efficiencies that benefit the business and leverage the tools available.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for enterprise training stakeholders and learning administrators
- Ensure that learning management system tasks are performed in compliance with prescribed policies, procedures and best practices
- Directs learners and managers to self-service help resources and, if needed, Tier 1 support to build a culture of self-sufficiency and efficient question and issue resolution
- Participates in learning management system platform release testing and change management activities
- Assists in maintaining a validated learning management system in compliance with FDA and Cardinal Health company policies and procedures
- Assists with other tasks or projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- 2+ years experience in related field, preferred.
