SRF Agricultural Engineering /Field Staff  job Position in Indian Agricultural Research Institute purely on contractual basis

Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Agricultural Processing and Structures/ Post Harvest Engineering with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree or integrated (B. Tech. + M. Tech. 5 years) in relevant subject. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC-NET/CSIRNET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or equivalent. or

Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. Kindly see ICAR memorandum for details of minimum qualification: F.No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13- 07-15.

Desirable qualifications: Working experience in designing on-farm storage structures, survey of villages, computer skills and experience in working with ICAR institutions in similar domain.

Pay Scale: Rs.25,000/- + 30% HRA per month Fixed as per the approved research project

Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Machine Drives and Power electronics/ Computer applications and IT/ Energy Science and Technology/ Renewable energy with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree or integrated (B. Tech. + M. Tech. 5 years) in relevant subject.

Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or equivalent. or Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. 

Desirable qualifications: Working experience in installation and operation of solar panels, inverters and refrigeration system; design inverters and refrigeration systems to suit specific purposes and expertise in computer skills.

Pay Scale : Rs.25,000

Field Staff /1 Post

Essential qualifications: Must know how to read and write; Experience (minimum two years) with the following: (i) construction of reinforced concrete structures

(ii) metal and plastic plumbing 

(iii) metal working (welding, cutting, shaping, fabrication) (iv) electrical wiring installation (v) management of work teams (vi) maintenance of records for labor and material expenses (vii) working in a research environment; must have own transportation and ability to lift and carry loads of up to 30 kg. conversant with local field activities/ works/ skills; willingness to stay in selected villages for a few days to complete the construction work of SREC chambers.

Desirable qualifications: Class VIII pass, familiarity with evaporative cooling and solar power based technologies.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15000/-

Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for  men and 40 yrs for women
