Qualification : Ph.d
in relevant subject i.e. Farm Machinery and Power Engineering/soil and water
conservation engg, plant science/Vegetable Science
Horticulture/Biotechnology/Agriculture. OR Master degree in Farm Machinery and Power
Engineering/soil and water conservation engg, plant science/vegetable
science/horticulture/agriculture/blot ethnology with 4 years / 5 years of
Bechelor's Degree OR Candidate having postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences
with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have
qualified NET or equivalent examination and have two years research experience.
OR The Master's degree holders with the integrated degrees like B.Tech &
M.Tech in the relevant subject (5years) and should have qualified NET or
equivalent examination.
Desirable : Work experience in the area of Aeroponics/
Development of Farm Machinery / Food processing etc.
Emolument : Rs. 25,000/- HRA per month

in Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Vegetable Science /Horticulture/Forestry/Genetics
and Plant Breeding OR Master degree in the Soil Science/Agronomy
/Vegetable Science /Horticulture/ Forestry/Genetics 'and Plant Breeding with 4
years/5 years of Bachelor degree OR Candidate having postgraduate degree in
above subjects with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree
should have qualified NET or equivalent examination and have two years research
experience.
Desirable : 1) Research in soil fertility/plant nutrition or
experience in soil fertility/plant nutrition/soil and plant nutrition analysis.
2) Work experience in potato cultivation' and conducting field surveys in
agriculture. 3) Knowledge of computer package and statistical analysis.
Emolument : Rs. 25,000/- for 1st and 2nd years + HRA and Rs.
28,000/- for 3rd year + HRA
Age Limit : 35 years for Men and 40 years for women
