Job Description

SRF Computer Science job opportunities in Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI)

Projects :“National Knowledge Management Centre for Agricultural Education and Research” under National Agricultural Higher Education .

Project (NAHEP) and 'Early warning for yields and pests in crops on spatial scale for their integrated management '

Senior Research Fellow/1 Post

Qualification: Master degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Information Sciences / MCA or equivalent Master degree from a recognized university. Master degree holders should have completed 4 or 5 years Bachelor degree in relevant subject. Those with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree should have NET* qualification or equivalent certificate.

Desirable: Work experience in data mining techniques special emphasis on text mining and candidate should have experience in open sources software such as DSpace / KOHA etc. in digitization and content management of library system.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25000/- month + HRA as admissible

SRF/1 Post

Qualification: Master degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Information Sciences / MCA or equivalent with atleast two years research experience.

Master degree holders should have completed 4 or 5 years Bachelor degree in relevant subject. Those with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree should have NET* qualification or equivalent certificate.

Desirable: Work experience in development of webbased system using CMS, Bootstrap, Zoomla & Drupal. Candidate should have knowledge of statistical modeling and data mining techniques, etc.

Pay Scale: Rs. 25000/- month + HRA as admissible

* Examination conducted by various Central Government Departments/Agencies like CSIR-UGC, ICMR, ICAR,DAE,DST,DBT,GATE etc. are considered as National Eligibility Test (NET).

Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
