SRF Entomology job recruitment in National Institute of Plant Health Management.
1. Senior Research Fellow (Plant Biosecurity) Plant Biosecurity Division/ 2 Posts
Essential: M.Sc. (Agril. Entomology) / M.Sc. (Zoology) / M.Sc. (Chemistry) with experience in Fumigation / M.Tech. (Post-harvest technology) with experience in Fumigation / Experience in stored product research. Minimum 01 year research experience. Desirable: Preference to NET candidates.
Age: 35 for Men & 40 for Women
2. Senior Research Fellow (Vertebrate & Urban Pest Management) Vertebrate & Urban Pest Management Division/1 Post
Essential: Masters’ Degree in Zoology / Entomology / Agricultural Entomology / Horticulture with Entomology / Wildlife Biology / Equivalent With any one of the following: 1. 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree with minimum working experience of one year preferably in Rodent / Vertebrate Pest Management (OR) 2. 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master’s degree with NET qualification, with minimum working experience of one year preferably in Rodent / Vertebrate Pest Management (OR) 3. Master’s degree with PGDPHM with Vertebrate Pest Management specialization. (OR) 4. 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master’s degree with minimum working experience of one year in Vertebrate Pest Management.
Age: 35 for Men & 40 for Women
Salary: Senior Research Fellow: a. Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA as applicable for candidates possessing Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree (OR) for candidates having post graduate degree with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification. (i.e. they shall fulfil the conditions given in the ICAR OM F.No. End./6/27/2014/HRD, dated 09.10.2015 & 13-7-2015 in continuation to the OM of even No. dated 01-7-2015 or as amended from time-to-time. b. Rs. 16,000/- per month + HRA as applicable for other candidates who do not fulfil the qualifications given under (a) above.

Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India had taken a decision for
transforming this Institute into an autonomous body vide resolution F.
No. 20-62/2007-PP I dated 13th October,2008. Consequently, the Institute
has been registered as an Autonomous Society under the Ministry of
Agriculture, Govt. of India, in the Office of the Registrar of
Societies, Rangareddy District, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh on 24th
October, 2008 under the name, National Institute of Plant Health
Management with Registration No. 1444 of 2008 under the Andhra Pradesh
Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Act No.35 of 2001).
