Project Title  :  'Studies on chronic exposure to arsenic toxicity through food chain and drinking water with respect to rice grain contamination in selected sites of West Bengal and search for mitigation options'

Senior Research Fellow

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification : M.Sc in Environmental Science with at least two years working Experience in research laboratory and in depth knowledge in Water chemistry with special reference to toxic pollutants and Water quality parameters

Fellowship :  Rs. 18,000 +2700 (15% HRA) + Rs 300 (M A) per month for three years

Age Limit :  Not more than 32 years (Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH Candidates)

Junior Research Fellows

No. of Posts  :  02

Qualification : M.Sc in Environmental Science / Chemistry or M.E/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Biotechnology/ Biotechnology with working experience and in depth knowledge in water chemistry. Candidates having NET/GATE qualification with interest to pursue Ph .D will be preferred

Fellowship : Rs. 16,000 + Rs 2400 (15% HRA) +Rs.300 (MA) per month for two years, Rs.18,000 + Rs. 2700 (15% HRA) + Rs.300 ( MA) per month for third year (if the same JRF continues or for JRF who has completed two years)

Age Limit :  Not more than relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH candidates)
