SRF/Field Assistant Jobs opportunity in Directorate of Weed Research (DWR-ICAR) on temporary & contract basis
Project entitiled : “Enhancing crop productivity and livelihood security through improved technological interventions in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh”
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) /1 Posts
Qualification: Masters degree in any applied subject of Agriculture
Pay Scale : Rs. 25000
Field Assistant /2 Posts
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Agriculture/allied sciences
Pay Scale : Rs. 15000
Desirable qualifications i. Relevant field experience and working knowledge of computer. ii. The above positions require extensive travelling and field work. Applicants must be willing to travel in targeted areas.
Age limit :35 years as on date of interview

The Directorate of Weed Research,
Jabalpur and the Zonal Project Directorate, Zone VII, Jabalpur jointly
organized a Training-cum-Workshop on Weed Management during 19-20 May,
2015 for the scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendras from Madhya Pradesh,
Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The inaugural programme was chaired by Dr. A.R.
Sharma, Director, DWSR. In his introductory remarks Dr. Sharma gave an
overview of the Directorate’s activities for strengthening weed
management through on farm research and organizing training/awareness
programmes. The entire programme was organized and coordinated by Dr.
P.K. Singh Principal Scientist, DWR and Dr. A. P. Dwivedi, Sr.
Scientist, ZPD, Zone-VII, Jabalpur.
