SRF / Field Assistants recruitment in Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR) on temporary basis
Senior Research Fellow /1 Post
Qualification: M.Sc.(Ag.) with specialization in Agronomy/Soil Science/Agricultural Economics/Extension /Entomology or any other discipline in Agricultural Sciences Or Post Graduation in Social Sciences with NET qualification
Desirable Qualifications : 1.Experience of working in oilseeds. 2.Fluency with working on computers. 3.The candidate should be able to read, write and speak in Telugu. Experience of working with farming community.
Pay Scale : Rs.25,000
Field Assistants /2 Posts
Qualification: Two year Diploma in Agriculture (regular stream ONLY) affiliated to State Agricultural University
Desirable Qualifications :1.Working knowledge of computers. 2.Should be fluent at reading, writing and speaking in Telugu. 3.Experience of working with farmers/farmer groups.
Pay Scale : Rs.15,000
Place of posting :for SRF is ICAR - IIOR,Hyderabad. The SRF requires extensive travelling to villages located in Vikarabad District of Telangana.
Place of posting for Field Assistants is Vikarabad. The Field Assistants would have to essentially stay at Vikarabad and carry out the jobs assigned to them under the project.
Age: Maximum age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women for SRF, and 18-26 years for Field Assistants.

The Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR) formerly operating as All India Coordinated Research Project on Oilseeds(AICORPO) came into existence on August 1, 1977 with the Headquarters at Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. It operated with a Project Director as its administrative head and seven Project Coordinators for groundnut, rapeseed-mustard, sesame, linseed , castor, safflower, sunflower and niger. Subsequently, groundnut and rapeseed-mustard were delinked from the Directorate with the establishment of National Research Centre for each of these crops during 1979 and 1993 respectively.
