3.Project: Marker assisted pyramiding of genes for resistance to diseases in Indian cauliflower (SERB, DST)
Junior Research Fellow / 1 Post
Desirable: Research experience of vegetable breeding and molecular markers with their application in MAS and analysis of vitamins and minerals
Pay Scale : Rs.25,000
Qualification: Master degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Vegetable Science/ Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Biochemistry / Plant Breeding and Genetics/Botany/Life Sciences with specialization in Plant Breeding or Vegetable Science or Vegetable Breeding or Plant Biotechnology/ Plant breeding and /or Genetics/Plant pathology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Or Candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have qualified NET as per ICAR No. Edn/6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015 and Agrl. Edn./6/27/2014-HRD dated October 9, 2015.
4. CRP-Hybrid Technology (Cauliflower) & CRP-Molecular Breeding (Tomato & Cucumber)

Qualification: Candidate having Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Biology
Deisrable: Two years research experience in ICAR/SAU or recognized institute on vegetable breeding i.e. handling breeding materials and laboratory instruments such as PCR, electrophoresis etc.
Pay Scale : Rs.16500
Age limit: Maximum age 35 years for SRF/JRF and for skilled helper/project Asstt. Maximum age 35 years and minimum age 18 years with age relaxation of five years for SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/women and three years for OBC on the date of interview.
