Senior Research Fellow (SRF) One
Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or allied subjects with 4/5 years’ bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)
Desirable: Research experience in maize breeding and application of molecular markers
2. DST-SERB funded project entitled “Analyses of genetic variability and validation of candidate genes for folate (vitamin B9) accumulation in maize kernel” (24- 708)
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) One
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc (as per the DST guidelines vide SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30.01.2019)
Desirable: Biochemical analysis of nutrients and application of molecular markers
