Advertisement for the Recruitment of Senior Research Fellow (SRF)Position in theDepartment of Mechanical Engineering
1. Funded by DST:RSF
2. Post: Senior Research Fellow
a. Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for a SRF position in the field of “Shape memory alloy based micro-mechatronics systems”.
b. The work will be more focused towards Control of Shape memory alloy actuators for micromechatronics applications.
3. Eligibility
a. First class in B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/ Electronics and Instrumentation/Instrumentation and control/ Mechatronics with two years of Research experience, with two research publication in SCI journal
b. Applicant should be GATE qualified.
c. Desirable qualification
i. Candidate should have strong understanding in MATLAB Simulink and lab view programming.
ii. Candidate who have submitted their Ph.D thesis can also apply.
iii. Fellowship details: Senior Research fellow will be paid consolidated salary of Rs 35,000. The fellowship will be provided till august 15th 2021.
4. Service conditions:
(i) DA will not be entitled for SRF
(ii) Medical Benefits: The SRF will be entitled to medical allowance as per institute policy.
5. Duration: The appointment is till August 15th 2021.
