Applications are invited for a Walk in interview for the following post(s) in the project entitled, "Development o
Sustainable Materials from Oil and Bio-Refinery Streams" at the department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Guwahati
1. Project Manager/ 1
Pay Scale: Rs.80130
Qualification: PhD in the area of Polymer Science and Technology + 2 years of research experience in the relevant area of biodegradable polymer synthesis also in bulk capacity, processing and critical analysis.
2. SRF(Direct) /1
Pay Scale: Rs.41850.00
Qualification: Post Graduate in basic science or Graduate/Post Graduate in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:1.Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship(Assistant Professorship) and GATE. 2.The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies an institutions such as DST,DBT,DAE,DOs,DRDO,MHRD,ICAR,ICMR,IISc,IISC etc.+2 yrs of research Exp. Candidate must have working experience in chemistry of biobased, biodegradable polymers and allied biomaterials.

4. Associate Project Engineer /1
Pay scale: Rs.41850.00
Qualification: Master`s degree Engineering/Design Or Bachelor`s degree in Engineering/Design + 3 yrs exp. Candidate must have working experience in handling and carrying out chemical reactions related to biobased, biodegradable polymers and related areas.
5. Project Technician /1Post
Pay Scale: Rs.14590
Qualification: ITI certificate + 3 yrs exp. Or Diploma in Engg/Design Or B.Sc. Or BA with 3 yr computer exp. (for computer relate jobs) Candidate must have working experience with biomaterials related to biopolymers, safe and efficient handling of various related chemicals.
6. Laboratory Attendant /2 Posts
Qualification: High School pass with 1 yr experience in research laboratory related to chemical engineering and Biopolymers.
